Final Blessings

What can you offer someone who passed away? You can't offer them anything, but your final blessings and prayers.

For the passing of Mr. Al Moumin, Sabih; a scholar, and a father.

Mr. Al Moumin was a devoted scholar of Arabic literature. He earned two degrees in Arabic literature, Middle Eastern Studies, and Linguistics. Mr. Al Moumin enjoyed reading poetry, he wrote verses for his late wife, Mona whom he loved deeply. Mr. Al Moumin was an expert on the modern history of the Middle East region. He read many books and owned a large library consisting of more than 3000 books. All of these books were donated to the University of Baghdad in June 2005 under his name.

Mrs. Mona Rashid Tebbara was a pre-school educator. She was well-known for her educational methods to work with challenging kids; she engaged them in art, music, and pet care. Mrs. Mona was a painter who enjoyed decorating her house with paintings featuring nature, groves, and farmers. Mrs. Mona was an animal lover. She opened her home for stray cats, she offered them food and a shelter where no one else would. Mrs. Mona was known for her kindness towards everyone regardless of who they are or where they come from.
